What you and we each agree to
These are the rules for using EnrollGhana. Using the site means you accept them. They are short on purpose.
Last updated 25 Aug 2026
The short version: we run the place where you apply. The school decides who it admits. You tell the truth on your application, and you pay the school’s fee. Everything below is that, said carefully.
1. Who this is between
This agreement is between you and EnrollGhana Ltd, a company registered in Ghana. “We” and “us” mean EnrollGhana Ltd. “You” means the person using the site.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you. They are agreeing on your behalf.
Institutions using the admissions tools sign a separate service agreement. Where the two disagree, the service agreement wins for that institution.
2. Your account
- One person, one account. Your account is yours. Do not apply on somebody else's behalf using your own account, and do not let anyone use yours to apply as you.
- Your number is your key. You sign in with a code sent to your phone. There is no password. Keep control of the number — if you change it or lose the SIM, tell us before you lose access.
- Never share a code. Anyone with the code can get into your account. We will never ring you and ask for one. Nobody who does is us.
- A shared handset. If you share a phone, sign out when you finish, especially in an internet café.
3. Applying
- Tell the truth. Everything you put on an application must be true and yours. A false name, a false result, or somebody else's certificate is fraud. The school can withdraw an offer for it, at any stage, including after you have started school.
- Documents must be genuine and readable. Upload a clear photograph of the real document. We may ask to see the original.
- Submitting is a commitment. Until you submit, an application is a draft that only you can see — not even the school can look at it. Once you submit, the school sees it and you cannot unsend it. You can withdraw it, which is a different thing and leaves a record.
- Deadlines are the school's. A cycle closes at the time the school set. We check that at the moment you submit, not when you opened the page, so a link saved yesterday will not get you in today.
4. Fees and payment
- The fee is the school's. Each institution sets its own application fee. The amount and the school's name are shown before you pay.
- Browsing is free. Searching, reading profiles and comparing schools costs nothing.
- Payment is by mobile money. You approve it on your own handset with your own PIN. We never see or store your PIN.
- Application fees are not refundable. You are paying for your application to be considered, not for a place. If a payment is taken twice, or taken for an application that was never submitted, tell us and we will put it right.
- A failed payment submits nothing. If the payment does not go through, the application is not sent and you are not charged.
5. Decisions belong to the school
We are not an admissions body. We do not decide who gets in, we do not rank applicants, we do not influence a school’s choice, and we cannot overturn one.
Every offer, refusal, request for a document and change of state you see here is the institution’s own act. If you disagree with a decision, take it up with the school. We will tell you who to ask and make sure your application was delivered correctly, and that is the limit of what we can do.
Nothing on this site is a promise of a place, and no school is obliged to admit you because you applied through us.
6. What you must not do
- No impersonation. Do not apply as somebody else, and do not claim a school profile you have no authority over.
- No interference. Do not try to break in, scrape the site in bulk, overload it, or get at data that is not yours.
- No abuse. Do not send threatening or abusive messages to school staff or to our support team through the service.
- No resale. Do not charge people to make applications for them using this service without our written agreement.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will warn you first and tell you why.
7. If you are an institution
- Claim honestly. Only claim a profile if you are authorised by the institution to act for it. We verify claims.
- Publish accurately. What you put on your profile — fees, requirements, results, leadership — must be true and current. Applicants make decisions on it.
- Handle applicants' data properly. You become a data controller for the applications you receive, with your own duties under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Use them for admissions and nothing else.
- Decide fairly and within your own rules. Admission decisions are yours, and so is the responsibility for them.
Full commercial terms are in the service agreement. See what claiming a profile involves.
8. Our side of it
- We keep it running. We aim to keep the service available, and to tell you in advance when we take it down for planned work.
- We do not guarantee perfection. The internet, mobile networks and mobile money all fail sometimes. We are not liable for a network outage or a payment provider's failure.
- Apply early. Because of the above, do not leave an application to the final hour of a cycle. A closed cycle is closed.
- Our liability is limited. Where the law allows us to limit it, our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything the law says cannot be limited.
9. Ending this agreement
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time through the contact form. Applications you already submitted stay with the schools that received them — the privacy notice explains what deletion does and does not reach.
We can end it if you break these terms, or if we stop running the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice and a way to take your records with you.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. If a change matters to you, we will tell you by SMS or email before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change.
A change never applies backwards to an application you have already submitted.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction.
Talk to us before you go to court. Most disputes turn out to be a misunderstanding about a deadline or a payment, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.
See also the privacy notice, which explains what we do with your information and the four consents you control.
