Your school already has a page. Take it over.
Every institution on the national register is listed here so that applicants can find it. Until a school claims its profile, that page shows only what the register says and is honest about knowing nothing else. Claiming it puts you in charge of what it says — and, if you want it, lets you take applications directly.
The page becomes yours to write
An unclaimed profile shows “not supplied” wherever we do not know something, and we will not guess. These are the things only you can fill in.
- Photographs
Your campus, your buildings, your students at work. Until you upload them the profile shows a plain plate — we will not put a stock photograph on a page about a real place.
- History
When the school was founded and what happened since, as a dated timeline. This is often the part applicants and old students read first.
- Leadership
Your head, assistant heads and board officers, with their roles and how long they have served.
- Results and statistics
Enrolment, teaching staff, student–teacher ratio and your results series. We publish these only when you enter them, and attribute them to you.
- Fees
What a year actually costs, and what is billed separately. Applicants ask this before anything else, and a stale figure costs you a phone call each time.
- Programmes and requirements
Every programme you offer with its entry requirement in your own words, so applicants self-select before they take up your officers' time.
And what it costs you
Claiming the profile is one decision. Taking applications through it is a second one, and you can make it later — plenty of schools claim a profile, correct their fees and leave it there.
- Claiming and listing are free
There is no charge to claim your profile, correct it, upload photographs or keep it current. That stays true whether or not you ever take an application.
- Admissions is a share of the application fee
You set your own application fee. We take an agreed share of each fee actually paid, and nothing at all on an application that is not paid for. No setup charge, no monthly subscription, no per-seat licence.
- The rate is in writing before you go live
It is agreed with you and set out in the service agreement you sign. Nothing changes without your written agreement, and you can stop taking applications at any time.
- Money reaches you directly
Application fees are settled to the school's own account on an agreed cycle, with a statement of every payment and its reference.
Every submitted application in one list, with the documents attached, the fee already paid and a state you move it through. Officers stop reconciling a spreadsheet against a bank statement.
An application a candidate has started but not submitted is theirs alone. Your queue begins at submitted — so what you see is complete, paid for and meant.
Admissions officers, a registrar, a school administrator. Each with their own sign-in, and a record of who moved which application and when.
Three steps, and about a week
- Tell us who you are
The form beside this. Use an email address at the school's own domain if you have one — it is the quickest thing for us to check.
- We verify the claim
We confirm you are who you say you are, usually by ringing the school's published number and asking for you by name. It takes a few working days. We do this so that nobody can take over your page.
- You get the keys
You sign in, the profile becomes editable, and you decide whether to open admissions. Nothing you enter is published until you publish it.
